WSO BRUSH CLEANER
What if I told you that you can make your own Non Toxic brush cleaner for about $4 a gallon!? You probably have everything you need right now in your kitchen!
Sounds great right? So what do I need?
Here are the supplies you will need to make a gallon of WSO brush cleaner
1. 40 oz of Vegetable Oil
2. 24 oz bottle of liquid dish soap
3. 64 oz of water
4. gallon jug (milk jug)
Making the non-toxic cleaner:
Step #1 – Pour 40 oz of Vegetable oil into your jug
Step #2 – Pour 24 oz of liquid dish soap into your jug
Step #3 – Add 64 oz of water to the mixture in your jug.
Step #4 – Shake!
NOTE: Always shake before you use .
Each time you paint replace the WSO. I use fresh WSO each time I paint. You could get 1-3 paintings out of each use, but I always want to use clean WSO and this helps keep your brushes cleaner. This is very cheap and non toxic way to paint. I use this cleaner instead of paint thinner. You can use this cleaner to also clean your palette. To thin your paint use Amazing Clear. We are also working on a new non toxic clear medium for folks who want to be 100% non toxic.
THIS MIX IS 4 PARTS WATER 2.5 PARTS VEGETABLE OIL AND 1.5 PART DISH SOAP SO YOU CAN MAKE AS MUCH AS YOU WANT!
**Tip *** to make the cleaner stronger you can add some soft scrub no bleach added to the mixture to make it more powerful. Only add this if you have a lot of dark in the brushes or need the mixture to be stronger to clean your brushes. ***
*** Tip**** You can use regular skin cream after cleaning your brushes to condition them even more***
I have changed the formula since the filming of this video. A new video will come out soon using the new formula we have listed to the left.
